LAND
“This line of work is inspired by travels post-lockdown, experiencing the geography of the states with a new appreciation. A trip to the Oregon coast, where I explored new shapes from the organic makeup of the rocks near and in the ocean. A trip to New Mexico and its earthy desert colors, snow-capped mountains, textured stucco homes on every street, and the burning ashes from the annual festival of Zozobra. A roadtrip from New York to Austin, filled with the architectural abundance in Manhattan, the variety of farmland crops from New Jersey to Texas, and the colors of the forest through the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is my honor to show this collection to you, may it give you a moment of stillness, reflection and peace.“
